Paula Bellemore, Executive Director

Working directly with PLC's Board of Directors, Paula is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization.  She lives in New Boston with her two sons, Sam and Jack.  Having grown up surrounded by farms, forest, and wetlands in Hollis, NH,  Paula believes strongly in the important role open spaces play in defining our communities and in shaping the lives of those fortunate enough to live near them.   When a position at PLC opened up in 2003, Paula found this opportunity to "do good work locally" simply too good to pass up!  Since that time, Paula's strong commitment to community and passion to preserve the rural character, wildlife habitat, clean water, and scenic vistas that originally drew her to live in the Piscataquog River Watershed have been a perfect match for PLC.
